Network access
Offline is the default: 3,120 of 3,181 items never need a network. 37 offer an optional online action and 24 need an online sign-in.
Design rule (ADR-0001)
Only features that inherently need the online network need a sign-in: Tap to PayCard acceptance on a phone via NFC, through a certified payment-provider SDK. Planned as an adapter; Simca does not read or store card numbers. Glossary, the co-op price counter, referral validation and the Simca Logistics board relay. Selling, printing, closing a shift, waybills and the peer-to-peer board baseline never require sign-in. This is a decision on paper; no software exists yet.
