Why would a shop need “Chart of accounts”?

For Chart of accounts (BK-0001) the catalog says: Hierarchical accounts by type (asset, liability, equity, income, expense). It is core priority within “Core ledger” and sits in both Lite and Pro. It is not a feature yet.
